Okay, so it's not extreme. But it is a makeover. John DeLuna of jdesign created a wonderful new logo, header, and icon for Avant Garde Parenting.
He's a miracle worker. Here's what I told him: "It's about parenting. I like blue. And brown. And I want it to look kind of modern and definitely kid friendly." And he came up with the most perfect design ever!

I love it! This is so funny. I've spent a good part of the day trying to create a button for my blog and possibly redo my header, I think it's a turnoff for some. I'll check out his site. Thanks!
Lori, creating a button is my next task/challenge. Why do you think your header is a turnoff? I like it! It's positive and celebratory!

I don't have kids yet, but I'm mentally stock-piling your thoughts and ideas. I really liked your post about randomly telling your child something that you love about them. It made me think just how much we don't say that EVERYone in our lives enough. =)
